Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Scheduling Representative to coordinate and balance inbound service levels with Procurement Buying Teams, manufacturers, and carriers using an online scheduling system. You will work daily with Transportation and Warehouse Operations, communicating with Buyers, Analysts, and Supervisors to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to learn new systems quickly, and a flexible schedule including potential weekend

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and schedule inbound loads to optimize service levels and distribution efficiency.
• Ensure receiving capacity by facility, day, and hour; communicate variances.
• Use online dock scheduling system to expedite high-priority orders; train manufacturers and carriers.
• Assist in creating inter-facility transfers while optimizing weight and cube.
• Coordinate timely resolution of past-due POs; inform warehouse, transport and procurement of exceptions.
• Assist in creating weekly storage pullbacks from facilities while maintaining weight/cube targets.
• Support continued service level monitoring and inbound performance.
• Handle ad hoc projects as assigned.
