Job summary

Emplify Health is seeking a Scheduling Specialist to ensure efficient appointment scheduling for our patients in a fast-paced Family Medicine environment.

The role is 32 hours per week, on-site in Onalaska, WI, with a starting pay of $17.93 per hour and full benefits including 401(k) matching and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of office experience with customer service responsibilities.
• Strong organization, phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential.
• Medical terminology and healthcare experience are a plus.
• Epic Systems experience with healthcare workflows is desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide love + medicine by delivering top-level customer service and first/last impressions.
• Collaborate with a team of providers and managers to support patient health journeys.
• Assist patients by scheduling appointments and coordinating care.

Job Details

• 32 hours/weekly (.8 FTE)
• Shift: Monday-Friday, between 8:00am-5 pm
• Location: On-site in Onalaska, WI
• Department: Family Medicine

What you will do

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients through providing the best first/last impressions with top level customer service.
• Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys.
• Provide customer service to patients by helping schedule appointments

What you need

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• 1 year experience in an office setting requiring customer service responsibilities
• Strong organization, phone etiquette, and customer service skills
• Medical terminology and healthcare experience is a plus!
• Epic and healthcare systems experience desired
