Job summary

Gundersen Health System in Onalaska, WI is seeking a detail-oriented Payment & Charge Posting Specialist to join our team. You will ensure smooth and accurate processing of insurance payments for both Hospital and Clinic locations.

Starting wage is $19.05 per hour, with 40 hours weekly and a 1.0 FTE schedule, Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3:30 PM. Hybrid eligible after training and a comprehensive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency and successful completion of defined core competency testing for Payment and Charge Posting Specialists within 90 days of employment
• 1 year of office, insurance or medical facility experience
• Strong understanding of medical billing and coding principles
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills
