Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Patient Access / Revenue Cycle Associate to schedule and pre-register diagnostic services, verify insurance, and provide financial counseling. You will ensure accurate medical record selection and maintain exceptional customer service standards.

This role requires multitasking across systems and a proactive approach to patient care. The position emphasizes healthcare knowledge, insurance pre-authorizations, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Experience.
• CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire.
• 1–3 years’ work experience.
• 2 years’ experience in a healthcare-related position.
• Experience with insurance companies and/or pre-authorizations.
• Patient Access experience with managed care/insurance.
• Typing proficiency of at least 35 WPM.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience with multiple computer systems and dual screens.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with strong critical thinking.
• Customer Service experience preferred.
• Willingness to embrace innovation, including AI.
• Travel to and work onsite at client/corporate locations as needed.

Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in a healthcare-related position


• Experience working with insurance companies and/or pre-authorizations required

• Formal typing proficiency with a minimum of 35 WPM


• Intermediate proficiency in MS applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


• Experience with multiple computer systems and dual screens


• Ability to multitask and work individually while applying critical thinking skills


• Customer Service experience highly preferred


• Willingness to embrace innovation, including AI, to explore better processes


• Must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require
