Job summary

The Verland Foundation Inc. in Moon Township, PA, is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to lead the development and rollout of an electronic scheduling system across multiple Community-Based Living homes.

You will standardize scheduling practices and ensure adequate staffing coverage to support quality services and regulatory compliance. The role serves as the SME for scheduling operations, working with program leadership, residential managers, float staff, PRN employees, and agency staffing

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of workforce scheduling principles.
• Experience coordinating staffing across multiple locations.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and Excel reporting.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Knowledge of staffing regulations and scheduling compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and rollout of an electronic scheduling system across all Community Living homes and locations.
• Develop standardized scheduling procedures and templates reflecting staffing requirements.
• Create and maintain reporting tools to monitor staffing trends, vacancies, overtime, and scheduling compliance.
• Train managers, supervisors, and employees on system functionality and expectations.
• Collaborate with HR and Operations leadership on workforce management initiatives.
• Monitor system utilization and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Oversee Float Pool and PRN staffing programs and coordinate agency staffing as needed.
