Job summary

Heartland Paving Partners in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Scheduling Logistics Manager to create daily schedules for asphalt, concrete, sealcoat and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

The role acts as a liaison between operations, subcontractors, and customers, coordinating with project managers and supervisors to resolve field issues and adjust plans as needed. A strong focus on safety and DOT compliance is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction logistics or related field.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to coordinate multiple crews and projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with email, scheduling software, and Microsoft Suite.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work extended hours during peak construction season.

Responsibilities

• Create daily schedules for asphalt, concrete, sealcoat and subcontractors to keep jobs on time.
• Communicate schedule changes, weather delays and job-site requirements to crews and management.
• Oversee communications with customers to ensure accurate updates.
• Monitor progress and adjust logistics as priorities shift.
• Support safety policy compliance and DOT requirements where applicable.
• Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to resolve field issues.
• Assist with emergency or last-minute scheduling needs due to weather or equipment problems.
• Perform other duties to support operations.
