Job summary

Dura Floors LLC in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Scheduling/Installation Manager to coordinate and optimize flooring installations for both residential and commercial projects. The role requires independent work and strong teamwork, ensuring installations are scheduled accurately, on time, and with quality control in mind.

The ideal candidate will manage RFMS schedules, coordinate with field reps and warranty/service teams, and lead daily dispatches and crew allocations.

Responsibilities

• Enter builder schedule dates into RFMS and monitor for changes.
• Coordinate with field reps on pre/post installation inspections.
• Schedule warranty/service requests with homeowners and builders and notify the builder of completed work.
• Print and review new work orders with installation crews and go over orders as needed.
• Dispatch daily jobs and weekly schedules, follow up on jobs not picked up for current day.
• Schedule crews to unassigned jobs at least one week out, monitor progress and discuss back charges with installers.
• Process completed work orders for payroll and assist Accounting with insurance documents.

Job description

We seek a team-oriented, detail-focused Scheduling/ Installation Manager professional with experience in the residential and commercialflooring industry. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, as well as part of a team, and will be responsible for conducting their work in a professional, accurate, and timely manner. This individual is someone who wants to join a continuously growing organization and work in a unique and fun environment.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enter Builder schedule dates into RFMS, monitor daily all install dates for changes and process accordingly.
• Coordinate with Field Representatives on Pre/ Post installation inspections.
• Work with Warranty/ Service Department to schedule occupied warranty and repair service requests directly with homeowners and notify builder of completed work.
• Print all new work orders and present them to installation crews the morning of installation. Go over work orders with crews as needed to facilitate successful installation.
• Dispatch daily jobs and weekly schedules each morning, follow up on any jobs not picked up for current days installation.
• Schedule crews to unassigned jobs a minimum of one week out, monitor all jobs In Progress or incomplete and follow up to completion, Review and discuss Back charges with installers, facilitate communication between installers and sales staff, Evaluate and report quality control statistics for each installation crew, Recruit new installers.
• Process completed work orders and turn in to Accounting for payroll.
• Assist Accounting in obtaining current insurance documents.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Self- motivated, detail oriented, ability to multi-task, strong time management.
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the home building industry.
• Must have the ability to deal with deadlines and create several estimates simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using digitizing software; RFMS knowledge is a plus.
