50Floor, Inc. is seeking an Operations Associate to coordinate scheduling, communication, and project delivery for residential flooring installations.

You will work cross-functionally with installers, customers, call center reps, and internal operations to keep projects moving on time. Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience coordinating teams or staff
• Experience in flooring or home improvement preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work five days, 40+ hours including some Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Installation coordination for quick-turn jobs (2–7 days from sale) with cross-functional teams
• Verify floor plan measurements and outputs from Measure Square
• Confirm customer deposits, down payments, and financing holds
• Procure materials and track through vendor portals for timely installations
• Move up installation dates when materials are ready earlier than planned
• Schedule and reschedule jobs; contact customers for appointments
• Onboard new clients and be the primary contact for scheduling updates
• Handle calls from Call Center regarding active jobs and resolutions
• Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to reduce delays and costs

What We're Looking For...

This is an operations coordination role, not a supply chain, logistics, or procurement position.

The Operations Associate works cross-functionally with installers, customers, call center representatives, and internal operations teams to coordinate and facilitate the successful completion of residential flooring projects. This position focuses on scheduling, communication, project coordination, and resolving operational issues to ensure projects are completed accurately and within established timelines.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects while communicating with various departments and stakeholders. Success in this role comes from keeping projects moving, anticipating potential delays, and ensuring all parties are aligned throughout the installation process.

What You'll Do...

• Installation Coordination for Quick-Turn Jobs Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure installation is completed within 2-7 days from the sale date, meeting customer commitments.
• Measure Square Output Verification Review and verify floor plan measurements and output from the Measure Square tool provided by the Sales team for each job.
• Deposit and Financing Verification Confirm customer deposits, down payments, and financing holds are correctly processed and documented.
• Material Procurement Order and track materials through vendor portals, ensuring timely availability for scheduled installations.
• Installation Acceleration Monitor material readiness and proactively move up installation dates when materials are available sooner than expected.
• Job Scheduling & Rescheduling Immediately contact customers for scheduling when jobs are sold without a confirmed install team; manage all rescheduling as needed.
• Client Onboarding and Support Conduct welcome calls to all new clients, introducing yourself as the primary point of contact for technical questions and scheduling updates.
• Customer Call Handling Receive and manage calls transferred from the Call Center regarding active jobs, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of customer inquiries.
• Process Improvement Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the installation and purchasing processes and recommend actionable improvements to reduce delays, minimize errors, and control costs.

What's Required...

• 1+ years of experience managing staff; contractor management preferred
• 1+ years of experience in the flooring and/or home improvement industry preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work a five-day, 40+ hour work week, including availability on some Saturdays. Additional days or hours may be required based on volume and seasonality, in addition to the flexibility to take calls afternoon/evening and/or weekend hours.
