North Seattle Orthodontics in Seattle, WA is seeking a patient-centered coordinator to manage scheduling, insurance verifications, and AR tasks in a collaborative environment.

You will play a key role in welcoming patients, coordinating appointments, and communicating with referring dentists while maintaining accurate records. A four-day workweek and competitive benefits support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Dental or orthodontic office experience preferred.
• Experience in orthodontic or general dental clinic is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; orthodontic management software is an asset.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written).
• Keen attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with warmth and enthusiasm to set the tone for their journey.
• Schedule appointments for new and returning patients using templates.
• Confirm reminders, follow up on unconfirmed appointments, and reschedule no-shows.
• Ensure the schedule accounts for doctor time and communicate changes with the clinical team.
• Generate correspondence for referring dentists and maintain patient records.
• Verify insurance benefits prior to exams and process related payments.
• Follow up on non-paid claims and manage overdue accounts to maximize collections.
