Job description

We are an elite oral surgery practice committed to exceptional patient care and first-class service to referring doctors. We are seeking a fun, hardworking, compassionate team player to help grow our practice and serve our community's oral surgery needs. Previous oral surgery experience is a plus but not required.

The role of the Scheduling Coordinator is crucial in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the best clinical outcomes, and meeting patient needs.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, collect patient financial responsibility, and prepare patient charts.
  • Provide concierge-level customer service while interacting with patients, referring offices, and team members via phone, in person, or electronically.
  • Ensure patients and visitors are greeted promptly and professionally.
  • Answer calls promptly with a friendly demeanor.
  • Schedule appointments to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and use of exam and treatment rooms.
  • Prepare daily schedules for each provider.
  • Manage patient flow to reduce wait times.
  • Assist patients as needed.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly reception area.
  • Maintain professional relationships with referring offices.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all information per HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of customer service experience required.
Skills and Abilities
  • Understanding of dental terminology.
  • Friendly, inviting, and professional personality.
  • Basic office skills such as typing and filing.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
