Duly Health and Care is seeking a Surgery Scheduler for the Vascular Surgery team in Elmhurst, IL. The role supports scheduling for pre-op testing, coordinating information with physicians, and ensuring patients understand prep instructions.

The position requires medical terminology knowledge, CPT/ICD-9 coding, and strong communication skills. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with travel to other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Medical terminology, CPT and ICD-9 coding knowledge.
• Understanding referral processes and scheduling workflows.
• Ability to learn new computer programs quickly.
• Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in person or on the phone in a friendly manner.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal physicians and scheduling staff at facilities.
• Verify patient information and coordinate pre-op testing per insurance.
• Serve as single point-of-contact for internal staff and external inquiries for all scheduled procedures.
• Schedule and/or reschedule pre-op labs and testing as needed.
• Contact patients to confirm procedures and explain prep instructions.

Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
