University Diagnostics is seeking a motivated Patient Coordinator / Scheduler to join our Hall of Fame location in Knoxville, TN. This full-time role focuses on delivering exceptional patient service, coordinating appointments, and managing high call volumes.

You will schedule imaging appointments, update patient records, and collaborate with referring physicians and internal teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage high call volume.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.

Responsabilités

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Patient Coordinator / Scheduler plays an important role in providing exceptional patient service and supporting the daily operations of our outpatient imaging center. This position is responsible for coordinating patient appointments, managing a high volume of incoming calls, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer a high volume of incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Schedule and coordinate patient imaging appointments.
• Assist patients with appointment inquiries, scheduling changes, and general questions.
• Maintain accurate patient information and medical records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, referring physician offices, and internal team members.
• Provide excellent customer service while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Support daily business office operations as needed.

Requirements

EDUCATION:

• To be competitive, must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office
