Job summary

A & L Finish Carpentry LLC is seeking a reliable Scheduler/Field Assistant to support the Management Team. You will help keep projects on schedule, gather job details, and assist in moving work from start to finish.

This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with responsibilities spanning from coordinating field activities to ensuring timely material procurement and data entry for billing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Bridge field and office by collecting job details, schedule installations, track items, procure materials, and relay data to billing.
• Assign and schedule jobs for installers.
• Enter and maintain job information in the electronic system.
• Drive to job sites to check on progress and record notes in the system.
• Meet with supers, homeowners, builders and contractors to review shelving or custom items and note install details.
• Ensure materials are delivered before job start; deliver materials to job sites if needed.

Job description

A & L Finish Carpentry LLC is looking for a hard-working, reliable Scheduler/Field Assistant to join our Management Team of Professionals. You will be working to help keep every project on schedule and be aware of what is needed in order to move to the next phase of the job and assist in overseeing jobs from start to completion.

This is a full-time position Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Management team by bridging the gap between field and office by collecting job details, schedule installations, track completed items,material procurement, client communications, and data collection for each job from start to finish and send then send data to billing.
• Assign and schedule jobs for installers.
• Make notes and enter necessary job information into our electronic system.
• Drive to different job sites if needed, to check on projects and/or work completed or work to be done and makes notes about those jobs in our system.
• Meet with Supers, Homeowners, Builders and Contractors to do shelving walks or go over custom items and make notes in the job file so the installers know what to install.
• Responsible for making sure materials have been delivered prior to the job getting started.
• Occasionally deliver material or supplies to job sites. (material would be dropped off with the company truck)

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Manager experience overseeing projects from beginning to end of completion either as a Foreman, Superintendent or Project Manager.
• Organized
• Good customer service (not afraid to speak to people, and make calls)
• Strong communication skills
• Close attention to detail
• Works well with others
• Know how to roll with changes (this is construction and sometimes things don't go as planned)
• Problem Solving Skills
• Basic knowledge working with computers
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable Vehicle to get to work
• Must be able to Stand, Walk, Climb, Stoop, Bend, and Squat, lift and carry 50 pounds.

Interior and Exterior Doors, Door Casings, Baseboards, Shelving, Door & Bath Hardware, T&G, Decorative Beams, Accent Walls, Bunk Beds

Most of our work is here in the Saint George, Washington County area, we do work in the surrounding area as well.
