Job summary

Duly Health and Care is expanding its Behavioral Health Scheduler team in Romeoville, IL. This role handles front-line patient interactions, coordinates pre-operative testing, and serves as the main contact for scheduling procedures with internal physicians and external facilities.

The ideal candidate will have medical terminology knowledge, CPT/ICD-9 coding familiarity, and strong multitasking abilities. High school diploma or GED is required, with 2+ years in scheduling and customer service

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in person or on the phone in a friendly manner.
• Build relationships with physicians and facility scheduling staff.
• Verify patient information and coordinate pre-op testing per insurance.
• Serve as single point of contact for scheduled procedures.
• Schedule or reschedule pre-op labs and testing as needed.
• Call patients to confirm procedures and explain prep instructions.
• Prepare paperwork for referral coordinators and facilities.
• Verify daily doctor schedules and distribute to staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and assist billing with charges.
• Cover for coworkers as needed and track case volume.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of **$16.30-24.50/hour,** with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
