SCHEDULER
U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D- WA) is looking for a Scheduler for her Washington, D.C. Office. The Scheduler will be responsible for preparing and updating daily schedules for the Senator and distributing copies to the Washington, D.C. and state offices (as needed), ascertaining logistical details for events the Senator attends, preparing detailed itineraries for the Senator, including important telephone numbers, location and contact names, compiling the Senator’s briefing materials, and other projects that should arise. This position requires the Scheduler to exercise superior judgement as they will be handling sensitive information. The Scheduler will work closely with the Chief of Staff and the Senator’s senior management team. The Scheduler also manages the Deputy Scheduler.
Successful candidates will demonstrate outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, and be able to prioritize and follow through on multiple tasks in a high pressure/fast paced environment. Previous Hill scheduling experience is required. Washington State ties are a plus.
The base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 commensurate with experience.
