The Office of Senator Elissa Slotkin is seeking an experienced, dedicated, high-performing professional to serve as Michigan Scheduler/Executive Assistant in her Michigan offices. This position is based out of Detroit, Michigan. The Michigan Scheduler/Executive Assistant is responsible for coordinating the Senator’s complex and demanding schedule across a wide variety of official and personal engagements in Michigan.
The Michigan Scheduler/Executive Assistant will play a vital role in managing the daily operations and time management of Senator Slotkin, working closely with the Chief of Staff, State Director, Director of Scheduling and other senior staff to ensure that the Senator’s schedule aligns with her priorities. This position also includes responsibilities related to supporting the function of the Detroit Office and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will possess professionalism, discretion, and a proactive approach to managing the Senator’s time efficiently and effectively. Organizational excellence, multitasking, and problem-solving skills are critical and strong interpersonal skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, work under pressure, and anticipate needs are key to succeeding in this fast-paced and high-stakes environment.
