Job summary

AA Healthcare Management is seeking a Scheduler who will expedite patient care by scheduling and managing assignments for the clinical team. Responsibilities include scheduling initial and ongoing clinical assignments, coordinating communications, managing supplies and in-service activities, and assisting with recruitment, retention and HR tasks. The role requires CNA certification in Wisconsin and on-floor CNA shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience scheduling in the health care industry.
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in Wisconsin is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to promote strong interpersonal relationships.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage assignments for the clinical team and residents.
• Coordinate communications of assignments and ongoing scheduling needs for clinical staff and patients.
• Manage medical supplies and coordinate in-service presentations.
• Participate in recruitment and retention efforts and customer service programs.
• Schedule resident appointments and arrange transportation.
• Provide direct patient care as needed (on floor as a CNA).
• Serve as back-up for HR functions and respond to customer calls.

Job description

The scheduler expedites patient care by scheduling and managing assignments for our clinical team. This position will manage initial assignments, communication of assignments and ongoing scheduling needs for the clinical staff and the skilled needs of our patients. Responsibilities will also include medical supply management, in-service presentation coordination, participation in recruitment and retention, and customer service programs. Other duties include scheduling resident appointments and setting up transportation. The scheduler will also be required to work some shifts on the floor as a CNA. The scheduler position is also a back-up for the HR position and will be trained in various HR functions and answer costumer calls. Position will require employee to provide direct patient care as needed.
