Job summary

Visiting Angels in Peoria, Illinois has an immediate full-time Scheduler opening. Join our office staff to coordinate client visits with caregivers and manage rapidly changing events daily.

Position requires data entry skills, dependable customer service, and problem solving. Typical hours are 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with one weekend per month on after-hours phones.

Visiting Angels has an immediate opening for a full-time scheduler. This position has great potential for growth. Must be kind, compassionate, dependable, have professional phone etiquette and customer service skills and loves problem solving. Also requires accurate data entry skills. This person will join our office staff and help coordinate rapidly changing events on a day-to-day basis.

Visiting Angels provides daily living assistance to seniors which includes companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, personal care, performing errands and transportation to doctor appointments. The scheduler's responsibility will be to accurately schedule clients visits with appropriate caregiver.

Scheduler Requirements:

• Work Hours 8am- 430pm, Monday - Friday

• General computer knowledge

• Work under pressure

• Handle our after hours phones one weekend per month (overnight)

• Work without supervision

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

• Team player

• Experience with scheduling software is preferred (AxisCare)

• Comfortable with mobile apps
