Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a part-time Scheduler for the Cardiac Unit. The role schedules appointments and procedures, verifies patient information and supports the order entry process, communications, guest relations and medical records maintenance.
It also involves performing various clerical and administrative duties. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience in customer service or healthcare settings and some familiarity with scheduling software
Day shift 2-3 days a week
Schedules appointments and procedures for patients and verifies patient information. Responsible for order entry process, communications, guest relations, medical records maintenance, and analysis. Performs various clerical and administrative duties.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a related area such as a customer service environment, in a medical office, or in a healthcare environment.
Some experience in EPIC, Cupid or some type of scheduling software

Sentara Leigh Hospital , located in Norfolk, VA, is a 274-bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977.
