Job summary

Catholic Health Physician Practices is seeking an experienced Scheduler to coordinate diagnostic testing, obtain insurance authorizations, and ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role requires at least three years of hospital scheduling experience, familiarity with ICD-9/CPT coding, and strong organizational and communication skills. You will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, ensuring accurate records and timely scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of hospital or medical practice scheduling experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Current ICD-9/CPT coding knowledge preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple schedules in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients regarding testing schedules, insurance authorizations, and related correspondence in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure patient information is accurate, complete, and handled in accordance with hospital policies and confidentiality requirements.

Salary Range

USD $23.79 - USD $30.70 /Hr.
