Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking a dedicated Home Health Scheduler to join our Burlington, NC team. You will coordinate patient visits, assign clinicians, and perform administrative duties to ensure high-quality home health care.

As a full-time scheduler, you will work in a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth and team collaboration within the Mebane Office coverage area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of administrative experience, preferably in home health.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; interpersonal communication capability.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Answer incoming calls from patients, staff, physician offices, referral sources, etc., and transfer callers as needed.
• Communicate patient information to appropriate staff to provide high-quality care.
• Assign clinicians to patients based on needs, location, and clinician skill.
• Provide general administrative support and maintain supplies for staff and patient care.
• Support the clinical manager with scheduling to meet frequencies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health Scheduler, You will:

• Greet visitors in a courteous, professional, and timely manner
• Assist with answering incoming calls from patients, staff, physician offices, referral sources, etc., and transfer callers to the appropriate person or department
• Communicate patient information to appropriate staff as needed to provide the highest level of care
• Select an appropriate clinician for patient assignment based upon patient needs, location of the patient, and skill of the clinician
• Provide administrative support for the agency by performing general office duties, including maintaining an adequate stock of supplies needed for staff and patient care
• Support the clinical manager with managing patient schedules to ensure visits are performed in accordance with ordered frequencies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED
• Minimum of two-year of administrative experience, preferably in home health
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer) with the ability to learn industry specific software applications
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
