Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedules for clinicians (nurses, PTs, OTs).
• Ensure visits follow the physician Plan of Care; monitor for missed/late visits.
• Perform insurance verification to confirm coverage and eligibility.
• Maintain accurate health information management records per regulations.
• Provide outstanding patient service by addressing inquiries and resolving scheduling conflicts promptly.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure seamless communication about patient needs and schedules.
• Adhere to HIPAA and agency policies.

This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, handling schedule changes and proficiency in various scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage schedules for clinicians such as nurses, PTs and OTs.
• Ensure all visits are scheduled according to the physician's Plan of Care and monitor for missed or late visits.
• Perform insurance verification to ensure coverage and eligibility for services.
• Maintain accurate health information management records, ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Ability to handle last-minute cancellations and staffing emergencies with composure.
