Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Scan Team Clerk to efficiently scan items, search for products, and create online auction listings. You will capture and crop photos, verify item information, and help meet quantity and quality goals.

This role reports to the Scan Team Lead and requires on-site hours. Qualified candidates are tech-savvy with the ability to follow written directions and policies, able to lift up to 25 pounds (50 with team effort), and capable of standing/walking for long periods.

Qualifications

• On-site availability with 8-hour shifts Mon–Sat as workload requires.
• Able to lift 25 lb alone, 50 lb with team assistance.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Tech-savvy and able to follow written directions and policies.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan items into the system to create online auction listings.
• Search products online for listing accuracy.
• Capture and crop photos for listings.
• Ensure information is complete and accurate for each item.
• Meet quantity and quality goals.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. This position reports to the Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scan items quickly and thoroughly into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete information for each item
• Responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
