Job summary

S J Bargh Ltd operates a modern Scania franchise workshop in Lancaster and is expanding its Scania workshop team. The role focuses on high-quality maintenance, inspections, and repairs across Scania and mixed fleet HGVs, with training and funded development to progress to Level 3 HGV Technician.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 vehicle maintenance qualification (HGV or Light Vehicle).
• Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic capability.
• Understanding of DVSA inspection standards and roadworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Full vehicle and trailer inspections, servicing and repairs to DVSA standards.
• Advanced diagnostics using Scania systems and OEM tooling.
• Maintenance of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems.
• Maintain audit-ready maintenance records per DVSA and company requirements.
