Job summary

Render is hiring for the first members of its Scaled Programs Customer Engineering team. You will support high-growth accounts with programmatic, one-to-many engagement and contribute to tools and content for the Field Engineering organization.

The role blends running scaled programs (webinars, outreach) with building enablement content, templates, and calculators. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role and a strong background in cloud infra and AI.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role (customer engineering, solutions engineering, tech support, or developer relations).
• Strong fundamentals across cloud infrastructure: containers, deploys, autoscaling, networking, CI/CD.
• Working knowledge of Postgres and database migrations (Heroku, AWS RDS).
• AI tools used daily in your workflow and advising customers building AI-native apps.
• Excellent written communication; create docs, playbooks, in-app content.

Responsibilities

• Turn expansion and churn signals into plays: AM talking points, programmatic outreach, in-app prompts.
• Oversee startup program onboarding: Intercom checklists, guided flows, activation follow-up.
• Identify recurring mistakes and craft programs to reduce customer friction.
• Build and improve scaled-engagement toolkit components: in-app programs, triggers, calculators, templates.
• Run scaled customer programs: webinars, Slack touches, outreach across cohorts.
• Translate questions and best practices into in-product guidance and self-service content.
• Maintain activity tracking data hygiene so signals feed to Field Engineering and Product.
