Job summary

Circular Services in San Antonio, TX is hiring a Scale Operator / Warehouse Support to split time between warehouse tasks and scale house administration. You will capture weights, verify shipments, issue receipts, and maintain records in a fast-paced recycling plant.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong PC skills, and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and communicate clearly with drivers and peers in person, by phone, or by email.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate scale house computer systems to obtain accurate weight information for incoming recycling haulers and outbound shipments.
• Compare scale tickets and bills of lading to verify shipment contents and weights for accuracy.
• Issue receipts to drivers and collect required tickets and documentation.
• Maintain accurate and organized records for reporting and operational analysis.
• Communicate effectively with haulers, truck drivers, supervisors, and peers in person, by phone, radio, and email.
• Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures while working in warehouse operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations.
