Job summary

RYZE Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to translate bench-top formulas into scalable manufacturing processes across co-manufacturers.

You will own the mixing sequence, time/temperature, and equipment parameters to ensure repeatable results on paddle blenders, ribbon blenders, and V-blenders, among others. The role requires 5–7 years in process/manufacturing engineering within food, beverage, or nutritional products, plus travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in process or manufacturing engineering, formulation scale-up, or a closely related technical role in food, beverage, or nutritional products manufacturing.
• Background in process or manufacturing engineering with meaningful exposure to formulation scale-up (bench → pilot → first production).
• Strong working knowledge of blending and processing equipment (paddle blenders, V-blenders, ribbon blenders, augers, packaging lines).
• Demonstrated ability to build trust-based relationships with manufacturing partners and to have direct, difficult conversations when needed.
• Comfortable with variable travel to assigned manufacturing sites, planned around commercialization and launch milestones.

Responsibilities

• Own the process-engineering translation of new formulas from bench-top samples through plant trials, first production runs, and continuous improvement.
• Engage early on new formulations to engineer for manufacturability from the start and flag equipment or process mismatches.
• Document the engineering rationale and build/maintain process documentation for transfer between sites.
• Support commercialization timelines with equipment trials, line trials, and capacity checks.
• Provide process-side technical support to site quality teams and investigate process-related deviations.
