Job summary

Western Milling seeks a dependable weighmaster helper to ensure accurate weights for incoming and outgoing deliveries. You will operate the scale, document loads, and assist with production, while maintaining records and following FSMA guidelines.

The role involves coordinating with drivers, performing basic data entry in Excel, and supporting a fast-paced mill environment. Shifts may include weekends and variable hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Weighmaster experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and maintain accurate records for deliveries.
• Operate scale and ensure clean scale area.
• Document load information and FSMA compliance.
• Collect samples for quality analysis.
• Assist mixer operator with manufacturing loads.
• Direct customers to unloading/loading locations.
• Process shipping/receiving documents.
• Answer phones and handle inquiries.
• Maintain housekeeping and scalehouse cleanliness.
• Develop cooperative working relationships with others.
• Work flexible shifts and weekends as needed.
