Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking a Scale Operator for our on-site production facility. You will accurately weigh products to customer specifications, maintain quality, and document data for supervisors and management.

This role requires attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to operate scale systems and related office equipment. The position is full-time, with assigned shifts, overtime, and some weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• General mathematical ability required to perform job duties accurately.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to complete paperwork.
• Ability to use basic office and production equipment (computer, scale, 10-key calculator, etc.).
• Clear and professional communication with supervisors and team.
• Overtime and some weekend work may be required.
• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screening; authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh products according to customer specifications and production requirements.
• Enter data using a keyboard and operate scale systems and office equipment.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Read and understand English to identify items on paperwork.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and management verbally and in writing.
• Analyze and calculate data using basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Complete assigned tasks accurately while using time and resources efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
