Job summary

ReSource Waste Services LLC is seeking a Part-Time Weigh-Master/Scale Attendant to manage scale house operations, records, and customer service in a fast-paced setting.

This clerical role supports yard operations, handles weigh certificates and COD payments, and may pair with a Laborer role on peak days. Schedule continuity is needed with up to 20–25 hours weekly, possibly including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of work experience, ideally in an office/clerical setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain computerized records of material amounts and truck identities and issue weigh certificates in compliance with regulations.
• Secure and maintain a clean scale area for efficient operation.
• Coordinate with plant manager and yard personnel during high volume days.
• Process COD customer payments.
• Direct customers to unloading/loading locations.
• Answer phones and emails; direct calls as required.
• Sort and file documents; light administrative duties.
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and correct hazards.
• Perform duties safely and environmentally responsibly.
• May be combined with Laborer role for dual responsibilities in material separation at processing stations.
