Responsibilities

• Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks accurately using plant scale system.
• Verify, record, and maintain documentation for all loads.
• Direct truck traffic and coordinate with plant staff for loading/unloading.
• Inspect loads for compliance with plant standards.
• Operate computer systems for data entry, record keeping, and reporting.
• Communicate with truck drivers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor plant entrance/exit points to ensure safety and security.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on scale equipment.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality assurance guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Feed Mill Plant Manager.

Job Summary:
The Scale House Operator is responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing truck traffic at the Eichelberger Milling Feed Mill Plant, ensuring accurate weighing and documentation of grains received. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, inventory accuracy, and efficient plant operations. The Scale House Operator communicates closely with truck drivers, plant staff, and management to ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks accurately using plant scale system.
• Verify, record, and maintain documentation for all loads.
• Direct truck traffic and coordinate with plant staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading.
• Inspect loads for compliance with plant standards.
