Job summary

Sortera Alloys is seeking a Scale Attendant to weigh incoming and outgoing loads at the scale house. You will accurately record gross, tare, and net weights and issue weight tickets to drivers, while verifying material types and documentation.

You will enter data into scale software/ERP, inspect loads for discrepancies, and maintain daily logs. The role requires attention to detail, clear communication with drivers, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior scale house, dispatch, logistics, or customer service experience is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (data entry, scale software, Microsoft Office/Excel) is expected.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
• Good communication skills when interacting with drivers and vendors.

Responsibilities
