Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Scale Operator to ensure the smooth flow of traffic at the scale and assist in dispatching truck orders for maximum efficiency. You will produce customer tickets and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities include verifying ticket details, collecting COD payments, transferring files, and answering phones. You will also help with scale house housekeeping and support plant staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Required Training/Certifications: Weigh Master License may be required in some states.
• Required Technical Skills: Basic computer skills and understanding of hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates truck dispatch to jobs with orders from Dispatch Office and operates computer to produce tickets.
• Verifies tickets for numbers, date and time accuracy.
• Collects COD money and records it properly.
• Sends transaction register and ticket copies to main office daily.
• Transfers all files and tickets; transfers twice daily.
• Answers phones and takes accurate messages.
• Prepares housekeeping to keep scale house clean and orderly.
• Assists Plant employees as required.
