Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Scale Operator to ensure smooth scale operations and efficient truck dispatch across projects in North America. The role involves issuing tickets, verifying data, handling COD transactions, and daily administrative duties within the scale house environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Weigh Master License may be required in some states.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of hardware/software are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates truck dispatch to jobs and operates computer to produce tickets.
• Verifies tickets for numbers, date and time accuracy.
• Collects COD money and records it properly.
• Sends transaction registers and ticket copies to main office daily.
• Transfers files and tickets at least twice daily.
• Answers phones and takes accurate messages for absent colleagues.
• Maintains scale house records and product tons; keeps knowledge up to date to answer customer questions.
• Performs housekeeping to keep scale house clean and orderly.
• Assists Plant employees as required.
