Job summary

Staker Parson Companies, a CRH company, is seeking a Scale Floater to support aggregate, asphalt, and construction-material operations. You will operate scales, process transactions, and provide customer service across multiple locations along the Northern Wasatch Front.

This role requires a high school diploma and 1–3 years in scale operations or related fields; strong communication and data-entry skills, with willingness to travel and work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in scale operations, customer service, administrative support, logistics, trucking, construction materials, or related industry preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and data entry systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck scales and accurately process inbound and outbound material transactions.
• Generate scale tickets, delivery documentation, invoices, and related records.
• Provide professional customer service to drivers, contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Support dispatch, trucking logistics, and production scheduling activities.
• Maintain accurate data entry, reporting, and daily transaction reconciliations.
• Assist plant and operations teams with administrative and clerical tasks.
• Follow all company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide scale house and office coverage at multiple locations as needed.
• Communicate effectively with plant personnel, dispatchers, and customers to ensure efficient operations.
