Job summary

Staker Parson Companies, a CRH company, seeks a Scale Floater to support aggregate, asphalt, and construction-material operations across multiple sites in the Northern Wasatch Front. This temporary role will handle scale house functions, customer service, ticketing, dispatch support, and administrative duties.

The position is a temporary assignment projected to last approximately 6 to 9 months, with responsibilities including processing transactions, generating documentation, and maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience in scale operations, customer service, administrative support, logistics, trucking, construction materials, or related industry preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and data entry systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck scales and process inbound/outbound material transactions.
• Generate scale tickets, delivery docs, invoices, and records.
• Provide professional customer service to drivers, contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Support dispatch, trucking logistics, and production scheduling activities.
• Maintain data entry, reporting, and daily transaction reconciliations.
• Assist plant and operations teams with clerical tasks.
