Job summary

Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials is seeking a Scale House Clerk for our Fort Scott, KS location. You will weigh trucks, issue tickets, and support dispatch while working with field and office teams, drivers, vendors, and clients.

The role includes processing purchase orders, handling routine reports, and contributing to month-end analyses. A high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in industrial or manufacturing work are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of industrial, shipping, or manufacturing experience.
• Strong organizational and math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Weigh trucks, issue tickets, manage traffic flow, and support efficient dispatching.
• Complete administrative tasks such as purchase orders, payables, fuel tracking, deposits, and routine reports.
• Compile month-end closing data, conduct margin and cost analyses, and reconcile timecards for plant personnel.
• Greet visitors, answer calls, and maintain office and plant inventory.
