Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Scaffold Construction Supervisor (E&D Foreman 1) to lead a local Raleigh-based crew on commercial and industrial sites. You will supervise up to 3 lead carpenters, ensure safe erection and dismantling of complex scaffolding, and actively participate in field execution while mentoring teammates.

The role requires OSHA scaffolding knowledge, a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work at heights while regularly lifting 40+ lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Scaffold E&D Lead Carpenter or equivalent scaffolding experience.
• Strong understanding of OSHA scaffolding regulations and scaffold material systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise a crew (up to 3 lead carpenters) to safely erect/dismantle scaffolding.
• Lead on-site and participate in field execution, using your tools as needed while ensuring safety and schedule.
• Perform daily JSAs, safety plans, scaffold inspections, tickets, and extra work authorizations under supervision.
• Coach and develop scaffold lead carpenters and helpers to grow within the company.
