Job summary

Town of Marana seeks a Water Technology Support Specialist II to provide hands-on SCADA, telemetry, and control-system support in the Water Department. You will install, troubleshoot, and integrate systems across voltages with safe, code-compliant operation of water infrastructure.

Qualifications include an Associate's degree or equivalent experience and at least one year in SCADA/telemetry environments; Rockwell/Allen-Bradley experience is preferred. On-call rotation applies.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or relevant experience substitution per year-for-year.
• Minimum one year hands-on experience in SCADA/telemetry/control systems environments.
• Experience with AC/DC power systems and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Wires, installs, and troubleshoots electrical and control systems for SCADA.
• Performs panel layout, wiring, and terminations per NEC standards.
• Maintains field instrumentation and signal wiring (4-20mA).
• Supports radio/telemetry equipment, switches, and remote I/O systems.
• Reads schematics/loop diagrams and performs preventive maintenance.
• Participates in 24/7 on-call rotation.
