Job summary

Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County seeks a SCADA/Instrumentation Technician I to install, maintain, and repair process measurement and control systems at treatment plants, pumping stations, and related facilities.

The successful candidate will have an associate/technical degree in electronics or related field, plus experience with electrical control systems, PLC/SCADA software, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Associates/Technical degree with coursework in electronics, electrical instrumentation, computerized controls or related field.
• Considerable experience in working with electrical control systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair process measurement and control systems.
• Work on SCADA, instrumentation, PLC and related control systems at treatment plants and pumping stations.
• Read drawings, sketches, and schematics; diagnose improper operation and take corrective action.
