Job summary

Qualus in Bend, OR seeks a Communications/SCADA Project Manager to oversee telecom, SCADA, fiber, and RTU projects through their full life cycle. You will coordinate with the Director of Project Delivery and cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

Develop scopes, schedules, forecasts, and risk controls; manage vendors and field resources; drive project closeout and site readiness. Requires 4+ years of related experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; four+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with cost, schedule, scope controls, forecasting and reporting.
• Ability to analyze information and provide solutions.
• Proficient with technical applications and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-office 5 days a week; occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital telecommunications, SCADA, and RTU replacement projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Lead project planning, design, execution, monitoring, and closeout activities.
• Develop scopes of work, RFPs, schedules, cost forecasts, risk tracking, and change-control docs.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors on scope, schedule, and change management.
• Develop and maintain RTU replacement program schedules and site-specific projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, area managers, technicians, and vendors to align resources.
• Track replacement work to prevent duplication and ensure proper coordination.
• Ensure equipment/materials are ordered, shipped, and tracked per schedules.
• Coordinate field execution, decommissioning, documentation, and closeout.
