Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Project Manager to oversee SCADA, telecommunications, and RTU projects from initiation to closeout. You will lead planning, design, execution, monitoring, and closeout to deliver work on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

This role requires coordinating with engineers, technicians, vendors, and site teams, with travel as needed and on-site work in the Salt Lake City area. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management, has 4+

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent
• Four years of related professional experience
• On-site work at client locations in multiple US cities including Salt Lake City
• Experience with utilities telecommunications and SCADA
• Occasional travel
• US Citizen or Green Card holder

Responsibilities

• Manage capital telecommunications, SCADA, and RTU projects within scope, schedule, budget and quality
• Lead project planning, design, execution, monitoring, and closeout activities
• Develop scopes of work, RFPs, schedules, cost forecasts, risk tracking and change documentation
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors on scope, specs, schedule and changes
• Maintain RTU replacement program schedule based on asset data and timelines
• Establish site-specific projects and work orders for RTU replacements
• Coordinate with telecom engineers, area managers, technicians, contractors and vendors
• Track RTU work to prevent duplication and ensure alignment with capital projects
• Ensure equipment and materials are ordered and tracked per project schedules
• Coordinate field execution and project closeout per procedures
