Job summary
EDF power solutions North America seeks a SCADA Engineer to develop and maintain the company SCADA system for electric grid monitoring and control. You will design, implement, and support engineering studies, specifications, and performance assessments across planning, licensing, construction, operation, and maintenance phases.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in a relevant field and 2+ years of engineering experience, with strong communication and cross-functional skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field with 2+ years in engineering.
- Knowledge of electric grid energy management systems or SCADA configuration for monitoring and protection.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain day-to-day SCADA operations across the fleet.
- Identify system issues using monitoring tools and troubleshoot.
- Design and evaluate systems to support company objectives and update patches.
- Coordinate with OCC, Asset Management, and O&M; respond to requests.
- Provide on-call support per the department schedule.
- Deliver commitments and manage external engineering services.
