City Utilities Engineering is seeking a SCADA System Analyst I – Software Specialist to help develop, support, and improve software for Fort Wayne's water and wastewater operations. You will work with engineers and operations staff to maintain SCADA applications, databases, dashboards, and data pipelines, ensuring reliable control systems.

The role emphasizes programming and troubleshooting, with direct impact on critical public infrastructure and operational technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
• At least two years’ experience in an industrial environment involving industrial control systems, programming, instrumentation, database management, or process automation.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SCADA applications, HMIs, graphical interfaces, and industrial control platforms, focusing on Ignition.
• Create, maintain, and document scripts and software integrations using Python, SQL, C, or C++.
• Maintain SQL databases, process historians, dashboards, and data pipelines.
