Job summary

Team UIS is seeking a SCADA Project Manager in the United States to oversee SCADA projects, primarily for water and wastewater, from proposal through execution while maintaining client relationships and ensuring safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 5+ years of SCADA experience, with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office. Travel to client sites and collaboration with field teams are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of SCADA experience in water/wastewater.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to support ongoing company growth.
  • Manage instrumentation, calibration, and SCADA projects from proposal through completion, including plans and submittal review, estimating, quoting, project meetings, scheduling work, and project closeout.
  • Travel to client sites to review project scopes, evaluate proposal opportunities, attend project meetings, and oversee project execution.
  • Coordinate and support field staff by preparing project files, ensuring required materials, tools, and equipment are secured, verifying that all safety requirements are met.
  • Provide daily communication with clients and field teams to ensure project alignment, timely execution, and issue resolution.
  • Reinforce a safety‑first culture and ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and company safety programs.
  • Review and approve calibration reports, ensuring quality and compliance prior to client delivery.
  • Respond to and manage 24/7/365 client emergency service requests.
  • Close out projects by addressing repairs, additional scope, final reports, service contracts, and follow‑up client communication.
  • Represent UIS at industry tradeshows, including setup and management of the UIS SCADA booth.
