Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Senior SCADA/I&C Professional Engineer to join its Water Team. The ideal candidate will be a licensed PE with a bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of related experience, capable of leading SCADA/PLC-based automation projects for water/wastewater facilities.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineering License required.
• NCEES eligible preferred.
• 15+ years of related Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead SCADA and I&C work across the discipline.
• Support the design, development, installation, and startup of SCADA/PLC systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Extensive experience designing and supporting SCADA systems for water and wastewater plants.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with municipal water/wastewater clients.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and utility stakeholders.
• Support construction services including submittal reviews, RFIs, field inspections, startup, and change orders.
• Provide design reviews for I&C and electrical deliverables across multiple projects.
• Develop and maintain SCADA, PLC, and HMI standards for water and wastewater clients.
