A technology firm is seeking a SCADA Project Engineer to deliver automation solutions for Substations and Facilities. This full-time role requires expertise in SCADA Systems, communication protocols, and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, Maintain & Configure SCADA Systems for Customer Processes.
• Develop HMI Applications for System Visualisation.
• Integrate SCADA systems with field devices.
• Implement Cybersecurity measures for SCADA Systems.
• Manage communication protocols.

Skills

Experience with SCADA Systems (Wonderware, GE iFix & Ignition)

Experience with substation RTUs, IEDs and IO devices

Knowledge of industrial communication protocols: Modbus, Ethernet, DNP

Programming experience (VB6, VBA, SQL, Python)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

SCADA Project Engineer – Full Time

Edison Smart is hiring on behalf of our client for a SCADA Project Engineer to deliver automation solutions for Substations, Facilities and SCADA platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design, Maintain & Configure SCADA Systems for Customer Processes
• Develop HMI Applications for System Visualisation
• Integrate SCADA systems with field devices like RTU's, PLC's, Actuators & Sensors
• Implement Cybersecurity measures for safeguarding SCADA Systems.
• Configure and help manage communication protocols, including DNP3, Modbus and OPC.

Requirements:

• Experience with SCADA Systems (Wonderware, GE iFix & Ignition)
• Experience with substation RTUs, IEDs and IO devices.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols: Modbus, Ethernet, DNP
• Programming experience (VB6, VBA, SQL, Python) would be a bonus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
