About the Role:

The Senior SCADA Engineer will lead the design, integration, and support of SCADA systems across wind, solar, and storage projects—ensuring reliable, real-time site monitoring and control. This role blends hands-on technical work with cross-functional collaboration, offering the chance to make a direct impact in a fast-growing clean energy environment.

About the Company:

I'm partnered with a leading clean energy IPP with over 6.5 GW of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects across the U.S. They're supported by a global infrastructure investment firm managing over $850B in assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, commission, and maintain SCADA systems for utility-scale renewable energy sites
• Integrate field equipment (RTUs, relays, sensors) and support remote operations
• Ensure compliance with interconnection and NERC standards
• Troubleshoot SCADA/network issues and maintain system documentation
• Participate in a monthly SCADA on-call rotation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical, Computer, or related Engineering field
• 3+ years of SCADA or EMS experience (6+ preferred)
• Familiarity with GE EMS, industrial protocols (DNP3, Modbus), and data historians
• Background in renewable energy or utilities preferred
• PE license or project management experience is a plus
