Strategic Staffing Solutions is hiring a Scada Engineer.

Will support and maintain SCADA and Energy Management Systems (EMS) applications. This includes tasks such as:

Gathering and Analyzing Requirements: Understanding client business needs to identify and solve technical problems related to SCADA and EMS applications.

System Configuration and Problem Resolution: Configuring systems, analyzing issues, and resolving problems related to real-time technology and operations.

Communication and Expertise: Acting as a liaison and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EMS applications, facilitating communication between business partners, IT teams, and other support personnel.

Interface Support: Assisting in the configuration, implementation, and support of interfaces for EMS applications to existing enterprise applications like ESB, APIs, and OSI Soft PI interface.

The role requires experience in supporting EMS environments, preferably with the Exit 21 system or similar SCADA platforms. It involves day-to-day operational support and is initially a contract role with the potential to become a full-time position. There are three levels of positions based on experience: 2-3 years, 3-5 years, and 7+ years.

Required for this role are:

Technical Experience: Previous experience with ICCP, RTU, and Reliance Application (XA-21). Experience with Electric SCADA Systems and Real-Time Data Broadcasting. Proficiency in programming languages for system integration or scripting (e.g., C, C++, PowerShell, Python, VB, PERL, Linux).

Regulated Support Model: Experience with NERC-CIP and Change Management processes and tools (e.g., ServiceNow).

Data Historian Experience: Familiarity with PI (OSIsoft PI) for data historian tasks.

Educational Background: Minimum high school diploma and the required number of years of commensurate experience mentioned above.
