Job summary

NineDot Energy in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Manager, Operations SCADA & OT to own the Ignition SCADA platform and lead SCADA/OT architecture across a growing battery energy storage and distributed energy portfolio. You will manage internal SCADA development, coordinate with integrators, and establish fleet-wide standards, aiming to standardize from site-level to enterprise-scale monitoring and control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Controls/Automation Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in SCADA, OT, or power/renewable energy systems.
• Experience developing, configuring, and troubleshooting SCADA systems.
• Experience commissioning SCADA and controls systems; strong networking knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and lead multi-site projects.

Responsibilities

• Own Ignition SCADA platform; lead development of screens, dashboards, alarms and historian configs.
• Coordinate integration with EMS, PLCs, meters and vendor systems; manage integrators.
• Lead FAT/SAT testing, commissioning and fleet-wide SCADA standards.
• Establish OT cybersecurity controls and maintain networks, patching and backups.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support to O&M; train personnel.
